Urban Egg Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Blueberry pancake was cold and blueberries were sour. The butter would not even spread on the pancake. The biscuit was tough had to use a knife to cut through it. We had one piece of pancake left that I was going to taste and she grabbed the plate without asking when I was going to take the last piece. Place was clean and people were friendly but in a rush to grab things too quickly.

So I have to say based on reviews I had expected much better. I was thrilled to find out that it was the same owner as over easy and sofa Brava that my husband and I frequent in the springs but honestly the similarities ended there. We were promptly greeted by a hostess though after saying one and a half and the fact that I was holding a baby, she never offered a high chair so I had to ask for one. The one that was brought to me first was visibly dirty and had crusty food on it and the buckle was broken so I requested another one which was better but I did have to wipe it down, kind of gross. She's at me right at the first small table kind of in the center of all foot traffic and a bit difficult to set up with a baby in a high chair... And I honestly felt like I was in the way every time someone tried to squeeze by. The server Samantha was incredibly friendly and very polite and I inquired if it was the same owners as over easy as I noticed the logo and menu with almost exactly the same. She tried it with me a bit and complimented the baby. Again very nice and prompt service. However my meal number one, was brought out by maybe someone on Expo or maybe a Cook wearing very greasy black rubber gloves and he placed the meal in front of the baby... Seriously are you kidding me? I quickly fumbled around to move it and made a sarcastic joke. I had requested my hash browns and turkey bacon extra crispy which neither was and my over medium eggs were slimy and barely over easy. The meal lacked any seasoning and it was quite greasy. I did enjoy the gluten free pancake and it's one reason that I frequent their other breakfast locations. I did make a comment about the eggs and the money was deducted off the bill which I did appreciate I would have just rather enjoyed the meal made correctly in the first place. The last thing though to put the nail in the coffin is the fact that they don't have a changing station in the bathroom for babies. Seriously?!?! You're in Highlands Ranch! I would probably just give it two or two and a half if it was available but I was very impressed by Samantha. Great service... Pretty bland food. Safe to say I wouldn't visit this location again!

I really enjoyed the great breakfast that was a change of pace. I had the avocado toast and my daughter had the Hawaiian pancakes. Nice service, nice selection. I will come here again.

Very tasty and excellent service! The bloody Mary bar was a hit with my hubby (he especially enjoyed the bacon) and I really enjoyed the huevos rancheros with spicy green chili. The avocado toast looked yummy so I can't wait until next visit to try it! If you are in the area, it is a nice option for brunch!

I'm so excited this place is so close to my home. I love the breakfast options here. I got the avocado toast and my friend got the biscuits and gravy. While I do believe Denver Biscuit Co. has the best gravy around this place is definitely a close second! My toast came with a perfectly poached egg and a beautiful beet salad! I'm thrilled to have such a great breakfast option so close to home. We did try a blueberry pancake and it seemed pretty on par with Snooze (for pancake fans). Good coffee, great service and great food, what's not to like?

Really good. Wife and I stopped in en route to USAFA in the Springs, just looking for a new breakfast experience. Urban Egg didn't disappoint. We're not super picky foodies but we can certainly discern an average breakfast from a great one. This was certainly the latter. Our server, Terri, was great. We followed her advice for the Avocado toast and Huevos Rancheros. Coffee is strong, but not bitter. Ingredients are really high quality. Green chili is legit. Great spot in Highlands Ranch.

My favorite breakfast spot!! The juice blends with vodka are a perfect hangover cure. I've had the breakfast tacos with chorizo several times and have never been disappointed. The avocado toast on the lighter side was excellent as well (just don't expect real bacon with this one). Service is not always been the quickest, but they're busy and have all been very nice, bubbly, and informative. Can't wait to go back!

  • Court Z.

We really love this place. The service is always top-notch. This last time, we waited about 5 minutes longer than they told us, and after we sat down, the manager came out, apologized and gave us a free order of biscuits and gravy. We really appreciate that sort of attention to detail. It showed us they are willing to go above and beyond to keep their customers happy, unlike Snooze. The food is good too. It's one notch below Snooze, but the short wait times and lack of pretentiousness makes up for it. This is quickly becoming our go-to brunch spot.

Delicious breakfast! Fresh, full of flavor! Definitely order the stuffed French toast. Great customer service. Definitely coming again when I need my breakfast fix.

  • Jervis D.

This place is good, but it is nowhere near great. A rating as high as Snooze? That's just ridiculous. I had the stuffed French toast and my wife had the traditional Benedict. We also had a side of bacon and The Cure: a fresh juice blend. Everything was pretty good, but comparing the Stuffed French toast her to Snoozes OMG French toast is like comparing Larkburger to Del Friscos. They are just on a different level. All that said, the food is good and there is no wait. So if you're in a hurry and don't want to wait at Snooze, this is a decent back-up option.

This is by far my new fave for breakfast/brunch. Been a half dozen times since discovering it this summer, and will keep going back. Where do I start....anything called out in a box on the menu is worth trying. My favorite is Tatum's Toast, (egg, avocado, bacon goodness) and you get bonus melon salad on the side--which is another call-out box on the entree menu. The pancake flight is a cool idea and one of the allures originally when I looked the place up--but with so many good options I have yet to try it! I love the healthy options for juices with kale, cucumber, etc. And was surprised by how yummy quinoa is as a breakfast item. I've started to make it at home with coconut milk, but still isn't as good as the one at Urban Egg. And can't write a credible review without plugging the make-it-yourself bloody bar!

Best brunch in town. Every time we come here, it never disappoints. You know it's good when you get full and can't stop eating! (I could literally lick my plate clean). Best f'ing food.

Sorry folks. A cold poached egg just does not cut it. A replacement egg was just barely warm.

  • Shelby P.

Urban Egg is to Snooze as Target shoes are to Steve Madden. It still looks and feels good, but it's just not the same. It feels like a knock-off. On the plus side, I didn't have to wait 45 minutes for some tasty pancakes. So there's still that! We enjoyed a variety of pancakes, eggs benedict, and tasty juices. My brother couldn't stop raving about the Mexican style benedict, served on a tamale. Next time, I'll visit this bloody mary bar I keep reading about. If you're in the mood for Snooze, but can't bare to wait over 30 minutes, head here for the next best thing!

It's absolutely amazing!!!! Everything was yummy! My husband had the Benedict and raved, I had the breakfast tacos with bacon and they were fabulous!!! Loved the fresh avocados! Ohhhh and the "Make Your Own Bloody Mary Bar" SOOOOO GOOD!!! Love the idea! We also had the strawberry cheesecake pancake, blueberry strudel pancake, cinnamon swirl pancake and buttermilk pancake they were all DELISH! I can't even pick a favorite. My Dad Had their stuffed French toast - so yummy and rich (as it should be!), my Mom had the breakfast quinoa and it was so good I ate half! My husband tired "The Cure" fresh juice and it was so refreshing! I am SO HAPPY Highlands Ranch finally has a great breakfast place! Go here! You won't be disappointed.

The food here is super yummy! I'm a big fan of the pancake flights and fancy breakfast cocktails. There's also a fun bloody Mary bar, so this place is perfect for a get together with friends or anyone else you like drinking with. The food is stellar and there's so many gluten free options. We tried a flight of blueberry, cinnamon, and strawberry pancakes (GF), a quinoa breakfast bowl, and a few sides, including a GF English muffin. Everything was so delicious we had to ask our waiter who the supplier was (Deby's Bakery). We went on a weekend, so the place was fairly busy, but we were seated in less than 5 minutes. The atmosphere is casual but clean and the service was great. We'll definitely be back!

  • Vava B.

We were looking good food and a Bloody Mary...Urban Egg delivered on both...service was A+ too! Definitely will be back next time I'm in CO :)

Our new breakfast place!! Big portions, hot green chili & the pancakes are to die for. Probably some of the best pancakes I've since grandma's. You definitely need to try this place out!!

  • Gina C.

I generally am a tough "rater" and don't give a five-star rating to a restaurant unless everything is perfect. Urban Egg is PERFECTION: the atmosphere is unpretentious; the staff are friendly, and the food is amazing. As a sister restaurant of Over Easy in Colorado Springs, it was a treat to come to Denver and find the same amazing Fred's Hawaiian Pancake, biscuits & gravy and the Crab Cakes Benedict on the Urban Egg menu also. This morning's breakfast exceeded all expectations: I tried the Southwest Benedict: an open-faced tamale topped with chorizo, poached eggs, green chile and hollandaise sauce. Absolute delicious bliss hit my taste buds! I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a clean, bright atmosphere coupled with great service and tasty food!

  • Lucie P.

Small place with a small menu. I didn't realize that it was attached to Salsa Brava (which is one of my least favorite places to eat), so I didn't have high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised by the Eggs Benedict dish I ordered. The combination of the balsamic glaze and Hollandaise sauce was amazing!

    (4)
  • Aleigha Y.

I liked this new little breakfast joint quite a bit. From fresh juice to foodie types of breakfast dishes you can't go wrong. I was actually surprised I liked it, because if you see my previous review of salsa brava it was not so hot. Amazing this place is attached and has same kitchen. I defiantly will be back for breakfast.

    (4)
  • Hannah T.

So good! Our server Gina was fantastic, and our food was delicious! We will definitely be back. They had really good gluten free options, including biscuits and pancakes which is a rare find... Glutards everywhere should give urban egg a go.

  • Bryan D.

Great new breakfast spot to compete with Snooze and Toast in Highlands Ranch! Love the pancake flights and Bloody Mary bar as well as for non-alcoholic options their homemade natural juices are amazing. We will be back and appreciate the hospitality.

  • Gwen G.

Better get in here before everyone discovers it. Our breakfasts were super, super good and the service was speedy and friendly. The menu moves from all things breakfast into some really yummy looking lunches. I had the stuffed french toast and it was sooooo good. I had it inhaled before my 2nd cup of coffee. A woman next to us ordered the breakfast tacos - with an overloaded bloody mary. I want what she had the next time we're there.

    (5)
  • R P.

Really good breakfast food (lunch is the Salsa Brava side). This has become a replacement for Snooze (which averages 30+ minute waits since it is a pretty small place). The whole family likes the food here (stuffed french toast and the pancake flight are the favorites). The staff is very friendly and engages their customers in conversation. Would recommend folks give it a try, won't be disappointed.

Hit this place before everyone figures out where it is and how incredible it is! I live within walking distance of Snooze but the lines and the prices are too much. Urban Egg has Snooze beat hands down. If you have a gluten intolerance issue, their gluten free pancakes beat Snooze gluten free every day of the week! The Bloody Mary bar, the sublime food with a little bit of a twist (eggs Benedict w/prosciutto, fresh basil, drizzled with a balsamic vinegar reduction sauce), and an attentive waitperson named Nora...this all means you can't possibly go wrong at Urban Egg. We also had bananas foster gluten free pancakes, gluten free cinnamon roll pancakes, stuffed French toast to blow your mind, and let's not forget their hash browns like no other. My mouth is watering for the next time we hit this place. DO NOT miss this place. Consider yourself notified cause this place is a gem.

  • Travis H.

This restaurant is Urban Egg by day, and mexican restaurant Salsa Brava by night. So it's no surprise that the Breakfast Burrito was fantastic! Great flavors, especially the black beans and salsas. The hash browns were nice and crispy. Large portions. The coffee was decent. Megan was a great waitress.

  • Jesse M.

We have eaten here about half a dozen times. This restaurant is similar to Snooze. The dining area is comfortable, and the food is quite tasty. They have a reasonably wide selection on the menu, including pancake flights, although the pancakes are a bit too big/heavy for our taste. Our kids enjoy eating here, and the service has been good.

  • Kim M.

My husband and I sat at the bar due to a 30 minute wait. The food was good and came out hot, fresh and nice presentation. Relaxing atmosphere and we'll try this restaurant again. :)

Great to have a non-chain breakfast eatery here in the burbs. best breakfast spot for sure. here is hoping they staff up soon and open the whole dinning room because they wait can be long but the food is worth it!

  • Sarah D.

What a fantastic breakfast restaurant!! Being gluten intolerant it is hard to find a place that serves great gluten free breakfast. I will look no farther! Gluten free cinnamon swirl pancakes with breakfast tacos, I think so! Absolutely scrumptious. Don't just take my word for it. Try it!!

    (5)
  • Jo Ann L.

We enjoyed their new breakfast menu! The sausage biscuit was excellent and the eggs Benedict was perfectly done. Looks like we've found a local breakfast destination.

  • Martine C.

If i was just grading the food 4 stars. Service 5 stars. $2.70 for cup of coffee 1 star. The coffee was good, not worth that price. The restaurant a typical egg and coffee shop but with a twist. The pancake options remind me of Snooze. I had sausage and gravy and it was good. I think its a great addition to Highlands Ranch but may keep me away because of the price of coffee. Im a coffee snob so that cup matters...its an important part of my day. Paying a lot for a cheap cup ruins it for me.

Love Salsa Brava. First time at her sister eatery the Urban Egg. Had to wait a bit, but they let eaters call ahead so it was way more convenient! I still don't understand why more breakfast places don't do that. Food was excellent and the biscuits & gravy lived up to the sell along with the breakfast tacos. Would love to see chilaquiles on the menu. Danaye was awesome and took great care of us while attending to an other table of 12!

  • Kelly P.

Decided to try this place since it is so close. I have celiac and there are tons of options for breakfast. I would say about 80% can be made gluten free and they even had a gluten free English muffin option. Staff was friendly and food came out hot quick and fresh. We will definitely be back. And alcohol!

  • Erik G.

I've been here twice and once at their Colorado Springs location. They've got a very diverse menu and I feel like I could order anything and it could be good. The avocado chicken sandwich is BOMB and the oils with it go perfect, definitely recommend

  • Nelli S.

Pleasantly surprised! The organic hamburger was really tasty and juicy! Simple menu with a variety of very good options. A great breakfast AND lunch eatery with a healthy twist. The wait staff was helpful and kind, and the atmosphere enjoyable. A bit loud if trying to go there to have a meeting, and the tables and restaurant are quite small, but there are a few 4 top tables. Overall, a great place with great food. Highly recommend for the person who loves great food with healthy options.

If you're a bene fan...you've gotta come out and give their Southwest bene a try. The open faced tamale over the English muffin is such a wonderful surprise!!

Love Over Easy & the logo looked the same, so we went for it. Same place as Over Easy in COS & same menu & we just love their food. Service was good & friendly staff. We thought the place was permanently closed becaue it looked totally dark from the outside. Maybe an "OPEN" sign would be good. Also, regular juices are pretty large, so could you offer a smaller size? Oops, forgot to mention my side of bacon was cold - wouldn't expect that from this place. Otherwise this place is great.

Our new favorite breakfast spot in the Ranch. We order takeout from this place every other Sunday and it's always satisfying. The food is fresh and delicious with a great variety of items. I have had the breakfast tacos, breakfast burrito, biscuits & gravy (award winning) and the pancake flight...deeeliciousss!! Their green chili is very flavorful too. Decent prices and tasty grub at this local breakfast joint.

Went here this morning for brunch. This place is bordering on a 2 to 3 stars for me. Our very nice waitress bumped it up to 3. Her name was Cyndy. I got their biscuits and gravy as it's their "show piece" dish, essentially. Meh. It was "okay". I'm from the south so I'm hard to impress, biscuit wise. I thought they were a bit heavy and doughy, personally. Also, I ran out of gravy reeeaaally early into my meal but it had a really nice flavor. If you're into gravy, I'd recommend ordering extra. There was a small hair in my very flavorless scrambled, cool eggs. I noticed it literally at the end so I said nothing. Based on how good the customer service quality was, I'm sure they'd have done something to make up for it. And my hashbrowns which were ordered extra well done, and were well done indeed, were half cool when I got them. My whole plate was actually not served to me "hot". The waitress offered to replace the hashbrowns but by the time I noticed it and flagged her down my meal was half over and it seemed like a waste. Since she offered to fix it, I didn't deduct any stars for that. I opted out, so that's on me! My bf ordered a flight of pancakes which seemed to have a little less "topping" on them than some people's in the yelp pics. He enjoyed them and they were pretty good. Soft. If you're looking for those rare kind of crunchy and buttery on the edge pancakes---- this isn't it. If you're looking for soft and tender, this IS it. Coffee was nice to me. I saw someone ranting about the price of it on here and it seemed worth it to me. I also ordered the cucumber honey lemonade and it was GREAT. Would I come here again??? Yes. But I'll try other breakfast places first. Also, people mentioned the prices were steep but I didn't agree with that. $7-9 for a plate of food. Ihop has relatively similar prices.... and not at all organic. Or local. So? The prices seemed reasonable to me. I saw steak and eggs with beans and tortillas on the menu for less than $15, so again, the prices weren't super high, in my opinion. One thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the hostess' refusal to seat us at a low table away from the chilly (to me) window. She said we'd have to wait another 10 minutes for a regular table but I saw several were empty just a few feet away. Would it have been a HUGE deal to let us sit "out" of our waitresses area which was maybe 12 feet from the table we were at??

Alright, sometimes when life doesn't go your way is only because it had something better planned for you...Urban Egg was my unplanned happiness on a dreary day. My family (wife and two kids) and I get to the Urban Egg on a Saturday around 11:00 after a tough morning. This place was bright (but not obnoxious), cozy, (but you weren't having to eat next to people in a stuffed small room), and clean. We sat at the bar to avoid the five minute wait, and my wife and I prefer to sit at the bar as well. Our bartender was Sara and she was great. Since we haven't been here before, she suggested a pancake as an appetizer...YES PLEASE!!!. We got the Blueberry Crumble Pancake to split. It was wonderful, light, flavorful, just the right amount of crunch to accent the blueberry flavor. It was gone within a minute. We placed the rest of our orders: The youngest had the Banana Fosters Pancakes - the bananas were ripe and flavorful, but it was the syrup that made this pancake wonderful. My daughter wasn't big on sharing a bite with me, so I had to sneak one in for the review, and it was worth having my hand slapped. The eldest had the Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes - I loved this one the most of the three (I have a sweet tooth, and this pancake hit the spot. The cinnamon swirl part became the save-that-part-for-the-end-because -it's-so-good-part. By the time we dug and ate all the part that surrounded the swirl, we devoured the last bits and it was like a dessert pancake. My wife had the breakfast tacos and really enjoyed them. She adds hot sauce to everything, but this time she ate them without the sauce because the flavor was really good, and she didn't want, "to mess with the crafted flavors." I had the breakfast burrito -what I get for breakfast at any restaurant, my litmus test. It wasn't as big as your head, but the flavor was. It was packed with eggs, bacon, cheese and potato, covered with their homemade green chili. It was awesome. I shared bites with my family and they all enjoyed it to, including my youngest who isn't a fan normally. While we waited for our food, Sara offered some amazing juice drinks and mimosas, but my wife and I decided to go for the Build-Your-Own Bloody Marys. The have a great Bloody Mary bar with all the usual add-ins plus: spicy pickles spears, pepperonis, Applewood bacon on a stick, etc. YUMMM! The Urban Egg is great for families, to-go breakfast orders and awesome for breakfast business meetings. The menu offers something for everyone; they have a large gluten-free menu and a nice child's menu. With all the lines for breakfast places, it is nice to have options - even better when they have a flu bar available. We will be back...at the bar...with the Bloody Marys...having some pancakes.

We had heard all the buzz about this new local breakfast eatery. Of course any eatery in Highlands Ranch or Lone Tree is a big deal since there are such few down here. Note; this is in the same location, and is owned by the same folks of Salsa Brava (not to be confused with the best Mexican food restaurant in Flagstaff!). The service was pretty good, as was the food. I would definitely give it a strong 3-stars. The price is a bit steep based on portions. We will stick to doing the extra drive up to The Egg and I thanks.

Loved everything about it. Awesome service, amazing food. The Tuscan is the best thing on the menu. The environment is laid back, but classy. The food is incredible and always fresh. Definitely the best breakfast in South Denver.

Couldn't tell if the food was good or not. Never got that far. Waited almost 40 minutes for it. Everyone around us got there food that came in after us. When we told them we gave up and we're leaving they said we will let the manager know. You do that!

Try it!!

We enjoyed their new breakfast menu! The sausage biscuit was excellent and the eggs Benedict was perfectly done. Looks like we've found a local breakfast destination.

The service was good however the food was not. The Huevos Rancheros were missing the cheese, the beans were cold and the tortillas were not crisped so they were a soggy mess stuck to the plate. The eggs were cooked properly. The hash browns were thrown on the griddle for maybe 30 seconds as the were slightly browned but cold and hard in the middle. Overall there are many better options to get a breakfast. My girlfriend got the steak and eggs and the steak was cooked well and was tender however her eggs were a little undercooked as well as her hash browns.

Just Okay. I'm shocked at all the good reviews!! I don't think I'm that picky either, but Mimi's café is better than here. Had classic eggs benedict. It was SOOOO bland and drenched in sauce. Had no flavor. My daughters French toast was so boring with no flavor. Also my husband and I both asked for crispy hash browns...They came out barely cooked! COME ON!

Friendly service, fresh food with both traditional and alternative menu options. Healthy options or dishes that are sweet. I had the biscuits and gravy and they don't get any better! Love this place.

Decided to try this place since it is so close. I have celiac and there are tons of options for breakfast. I would say about 80% can be made gluten free and they even had a gluten free English muffin option. Staff was friendly and food came out hot quick and fresh. We will definitely be back. And alcohol!

I've been here twice and once at their Colorado Springs location. They've got a very diverse menu and I feel like I could order anything and it could be good. The avocado chicken sandwich is BOMB and the oils with it go perfect, definitely recommend

So good! Our server Gina was fantastic, and our food was delicious! We will definitely be back. They had really good gluten free options, including biscuits and pancakes which is a rare find... Glutards everywhere should give urban egg a go.

The most bland food I have ever tasted. Service was decent. Way overpriced for what was offered. The way the restaurant is set up, it's HORRIBLY loud. We couldn't even carry on a conversation. I don't plan to go back.

The food is delicious and the hospitality and service are top-notch! I'm thrilled to have a new breakfast option in Highlands Ranch! Get the biscuits and gravy as an "appetizer" for your table! Homestyle goodness at it's finest - you won't regret it. We also split a pancake flight, and these pancakes can match the best that Snooze has to offer! Another table favorite was the Tuscan benedict! Absolutely delightful. Plus you can't go wrong with their make-your-own bloody mary bar! We'll be back frequently!

So great to have a high quality breakfast eatery in Highlands Ranch. The breakfast burrito was perfect, not overly-packed with potatoes, smaller in size and very flavorful. My son had the chicken avocado cheddar sandwich and loved it! Great service, attentive and quick! Tip: call ahead for seating. It's a very small place and fills up quickly.

Very disappointed, breakfast came with hashbrowns uncooked, asked for crispy. Omelet, cheese almost melted. English muffin not toasted. Waitress only came back once. No fork at table had to eat with spoon. By the time the waitress came back the one time we did get a fork, new hashbrowns worse then before. When she brought the check I told her all that was wrong, pointed to a picture of the hashbrowns on the table and said thats what I wanted and all she could say, we are busy. Really! It is Sat morning, of course your busy. But you need good food out of the kitchen all the time. Not sure if we will go back...sad was happy for a neighborhood breakfast place.... still looking.....

I really wanted to like this place because there just aren't enough good breakfast restaurants around but we were disappointed. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and he said the biscuits seemed a bit stale. I ordered the yogurt and housemade granola and was really disappointed in the presentation - a small bowl of yogurt with hardly any granola and a small bowl of fruit. The granola was nothing special. For the price, they should have included an english muffin or toast. My son ordered the cinnamon swirl pancakes and they were so sweet, even he couldn't finish them. I took one bite and just about gagged. The wait staff was friendly and service was fine but sadly there was nothing that would make me want to go back. It sounds like from other reviews that some of the dishes are good (eggs benedict and stuffed French toast), we just didn't have that experience.

I came across this restaurant from a request from my hotel front desk. As soon as i walked in I was amazed. Such a warm atmosphere, I was greeted right away. As I travel for work alone I asked to sit at a bar seat by myself. I inquired about the bloody mary bar Sara told me about it and she offered too build one for me. I've had one before but nothing like the one she brought me. Many fixings bacon, olives, celery, pepperoni, peppers, and did I say bacon? The menu was full options and I finally decided on the biscuits and gravy and a side pancake of the day. Hadn't had a breakfast this good since I was a kid. Such a great experience, two other managers came by to make sure I was good with my meal. I have never seen service like this anywhere, I hope work sends me to Highlands Ranch more often.

Well worth the drive from Castle Rock. Great service, and the food was amazing. I had Tatum's Toast from the the "lighter side" of the menu. It was delicious and satisfying, unlike many "lighter" dishes I've had. My husband had the biscuit and gravy breakfast and loved it. The Bloody Mary bar was also a big hit with him. I would have had a Mimosa, but I'm counting the calories. We will definitely be going back!

I was on the way to work when I noticed a new sign pop up next to Salsa Brava. A new breakfast place that's not a VI or Denny's? Ok I'm in! I brought my mom here before an afternoon of shopping and we both through it was good and had a good atmosphere but most importantly it was clean. I will def be back. My only complaint and the reasoning behind 3 star is $$. It's a little over priced but it's good quality.

Eggery with a Mexican flair by day, top notch Mexican at night! Urban Egg, A Daytime Eatery is now our go-to for Sunday morning breakfast. Of course, the rest of Highlands Ranch agrees. Figure a 15-20 minute wait, or snag a couple of spaces at the bar. Urban Egg is the sister project of Salsa Brava, our favorite Mexican outlet in the south suburbs. The concept is to co-locate the two, but have separate opening hours, AND entrances. The breakfast choices run the gamut of Pancakes, Eggs Benedict (Chilaquiles are a must), and a wide range of egg dishes. Linda especially enjoyed the Avocado Toast. Prices are a bit higher than others due to their desire to source locally, organic and fair trade where possible. Urban Egg is a must!

I loved this little place! Everyone is very accommodating and friendly. I ordered the Classic Benedict and it was perfect. Couple that with the make your own Bloody Mary bar and I had the best brunch in town going on. It's interesting that it's an egg place during the day and presto change it's a Mexican place at night by the name of Salsa Brava. If the Mexican food is as good as my Benedict I'm heading back for some enchiladas. They also have a pretty amazing juice bar, with lots of organic and gluten free options.

COME ON!

Great food and friendly service. Biscuits and gravy...a must try! The pancake flight was neat too, great way to try 3 different flavors. We will be coming back!

Friendly service, fresh food with both traditional and alternative menu options. Healthy options or dishes that are sweet. I had the biscuits and gravy and they don't get any better! Love this place.

Decided to try this place since it is so close. I have celiac and there are tons of options for breakfast. I would say about 80% can be made gluten free and they even had a gluten free English muffin option. Staff was friendly and food came out hot quick and fresh. We will definitely be back. And alcohol!

So this is our second visit & I've been wowed again! Not only did the wait staff remember us, but what we ordered! Great staff! We ordered all new things & each new menu item was spectacular! Did I mention the gluten-free options.... My daughter with celiacs loves all the choices!! Love this place!!

Very accommodating to those with Celiac. I was staying in Denver and wasn't sure about making the trip (as its just south of Denver), but I'm so glad I did!! The staff was friendly and food was good!

Great new breakfast spot to compete with Snooze and Toast in Highlands Ranch! Love the pancake flights and Bloody Mary bar as well as for non-alcoholic options their homemade natural juices are amazing. We will be back and appreciate the hospitality.

  • Michele L.

Oh.my .word. The biscuits and gravy were amazing. The eggs were perfectly basted. My husband had the Benedictus with prosciutto and balsamic with hollandaise. It was all delicious. Mimosas were great too. I had no idea they were affiliated with Salsa Brava. We love Salsa Brava and now we love Urban Egg!

Couldn't tell if the food was good or not. Never got that far. Waited almost 40 minutes for it. Everyone around us got there food that came in after us. When we told them we gave up and we're leaving they said we will let the manager know. You do that!

My husband and I sat at the bar due to a 30 minute wait. The food was good and came out hot, fresh and nice presentation. Relaxing atmosphere and we'll try this restaurant again. :)

I've been here twice and once at their Colorado Springs location. They've got a very diverse menu and I feel like I could order anything and it could be good. The avocado chicken sandwich is BOMB and the oils with it go perfect, definitely recommend

  • Megan M.

Try it!!

  • Kelli N.

    (3)
  • G S.

We didn't realize that the restaurant was attached to Salsa Bravo. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he thought it was quite flavorful. I had the classic eggs Benedict. So boring and flavorless. The has Browns were greasy. Small menu.

  • Candi F.

I really liked the French Toast and the Cinnamon pancakes. Delish. The service was a little slow to start, but overall very friendly. It would have 5 stars, but the coffee wasn't great. Talked to the manager, and he was very receptive to feedback. Said they are working on the filter system. Definitely will be revisiting this one.

Thought we would try it on a Saturday morning. Arrived at 715am as it is supposed to open at 7am. Place was still closed with no lights on. We left as did others. If they cannot open on time they are not long for the breakfast business.

The food was good but not great. My French toast was lukewarm but tasted fine, and my husbands blueberry pancakes had a surprising lack of blueberries but he said the taste was good. For the price I'd go to cafe terra cotta or pancake house instead.

  • Jolene C.

We really love this place. The service is always top-notch. This last time, we waited about 5 minutes longer than they told us, and after we sat down, the manager came out, apologized and gave us a free order of biscuits and gravy. We really appreciate that sort of attention to detail. It showed us they are willing to go above and beyond to keep their customers happy, unlike Snooze. The food is good too. It's one notch below Snooze, but the short wait times and lack of pretentiousness makes up for it. This is quickly becoming our go-to brunch spot.

Sorry folks. A cold poached egg just does not cut it. A replacement egg was just barely warm.

I thought the breakfast was good and the cucumber lemonade was delicious. Came here for breakfast with a large group on a busy Sunday morning and they got us in pretty quick and the service was great. Can't remember the name of my dish but it included a piece of delicious toast with mashed avocado and an egg on top with hash browns. It was delish!
